SODO Work Capacity Cycle


SODO CrossFit Endurance is starting a WORK CAPACITY Cycle.  Our past STRENGTH cycle was very successful - too many PR's to list.  But now the real work begins.

We want to be leaner, bigger, stronger, faster. We want to be better than the last time we stepped into the gym, under the bar, or onto the field.

If you didn't feel this way you wouldn't be @ SODO CFE. You'd be walking around staring at your damn iPhone, checking your fantasy football scores, or seeing what bullshit the Kardashians are up to.  You'd still be telling people how fast your 5k used to be...or how much you squatted in college.

Instead, you're here, clangin’ and bangin’. You may not be the all-time best, but you want more – and for that we will oblige you.

I define WORK CAPACITY as the general ability of the body [as a machine] to produce work of different intensity and duration using the appropriate energy systems.

If this is true, then by raising our ability to do work, all other attributes and characteristics will be more attainable, regardless of specificity. If general preparedness serves as the foundation to build off of, then the better the foundation and the better the structure will be.

Now – stop reading Facebook.  Drink some fish oil, watch the World Cup, and we’ll see you at the gym.
