After your WOD today, support your local Iron Club at the
Third Annual Pipehitters Classic
at Madison Middle School Playfield in West Seattle all day today.
Athletes from all over the North West (and Canada!) will be there reminding us what it means to be Old Country Strong. Dr. Ross will be there manning a tent, so come check out this awesome display of badassery.

a note from gogo:
To My SODO Family,
I can say without doubt or exaggeration that working with each of you has brought me unparalleled joy and pride. Seeing you put forth such effort and enthusiasm in the pursuit of your strength and fitness goals has inspired me every day as both a coach and an athlete. Watching the improvement of your technique, the weight increases in your lifts, the plummeting of your WOD times, and the growth of your confidence as athletes has been incredible. Thank you for laughing at my jokes (pretending or otherwise), humoring me on my warm up circle "games," and cleaning up to "Borderline" on Madonna Mondays for weeks on end. I am honored to have had the opportunity to aid in teaching you to wield the barbell (and kettlebell!). Know that I will miss you all TERRIBLY, and that if you drop a kettlebell or nekkid bar on the floor I will still hear it in Canada and my soul will cry out in agony :0) Keep lifting! Our strength is one of those irreducible, irremovable things that nothing and no one can take from us, so please continue to cherish and nurture it.
You'll be on my mind and in my heart!
big loves & big squats,
gg
