Part of being able to put a weight overhead in the real world is to also be able to get it from the ground up to your shoulders... So don't be surprised if the limiting factor in the establishment of a 1 or 10 RM is your ability to "power clean" the bar to your shoulders. GOOD FORM! We don't want our ego to take over and have crummy form just to get the bar up.
